Kops Park Revitalization Team

Mission:
The Kops Park Revitalization Team was established in 2007 to address revitalization issues in Kops Park by enhancing recreation, safety, environmental awareness, beautification and facilitating an all around inviting atmosphere in this small neighborhood park
Vision:

To have Kops Park be the center of activities for the neighborhood.

Update the pavilion for year round use.
*
Restore gang-free family picnic areas.
*
Properly manage park trees/shrubs (remove/plant/prune).
*
Partner with MPS to provide summer playground/educational activities for the kids.
*
Develop a disc-golf course.
*
Implement an effective Park Watch
*
Designate the park as “An On Leash Dog Area” and promote pets in the park

May 24th – Memorial Day Weekend BBQ/Concert

June thru Aug. (weekdays) – Board Games & Arts & Crafts for Kids

Aug. 7th – National Night Out

Oct 26th – Chili Cook-off/Concert
Needs:
We need assistance with attracting volunteers, restoration of gang-free family picnic areas and designating the park as “An On Leash Dog Area"
