105 Days of Summer

Celebrate 105 years of your parks in Milwaukee County with activities all summer long!

Kick off the "105 Days of Summer" by joining the Milwaukee County Park System and The Park People of Milwaukee on Saturday, June 2nd to celebrate the 105th Anniversary of Milwaukee County Parks. This special event will be held on Milwaukee’s lakefront at McKinley Park (1750 N Lincoln Memorial Dr.) from 11:00AM to 4:00 PM.


The event features live music and other performances, a history lesson about our Milwaukee County Parks by local historian John Gurda, youth activities hosted by the YMCA, Klement’s Racing Sausages, Door County Sled Dogs, and more! Food and beverages will able available onsite or we encourage you to pack a lunch and picnic in the park!

105 Days of Summer begins Sat., June 2nd at the McKinley Park Pavillion (Across from the Alterra on Lincoln Memorial Drive) with an Event Opening Celebration and the kickoff to The Oak Leaf Discovery Tour. The Tour is a new event that leads bicyclists and trail users to 14 Milwaukee County Parks attractions along the Oak Leaf Trail.
