Get Engaged with Our Programs and Events

The Park People programs and events are designed to engage citizens, businesses and corporations. By engaging our community in programs and events which feature and support our treasured park system, we enable park usability and preservation for future generations. Through these efforts, we strive to improve community awareness, appreciation and engagement in our park systems.

Our programs and events include:

Weed-Out® a volunteer initiative designed to significantly reduce the proliferation of invasive plant species in our parks.

Oak Leaf Discovery Tour® a summer long event that encourages you to tour the beautiful 118 miles of Milwaukee County Parks Trails System.

Park Trails- An abundance of trails are waiting for you to explore. Learn more here

Current Events- At different times of the year, the Park People sponsor learning and fun events. Check out what’s on the docket here.
